University and sponsors allocate resources to donate groceries to students in self-isolation

A number of measures was put forth by Rector Ilshat Gafurov yesterday and today during morning briefings.

As Dr. Gafurov noted, there are currently 7,800 students at KFU dormitories, the vast majority of which are overseas citizens. During self-isolation, some of them are experiencing financial strain.

The Rector ordered to streamline the process of donating indispensable groceries to all the students currently isolated in dorms.

As of today, the sponsors have provided ketchup, mayonnaise, sunflower oil, potato, cabbage, beet, laundry detergent, household chemicals, meat, flour, rice, buckwheat, pea, pasta, sugar, and canned products. More is expected to come from other municipal districts, such as Rybnaya Sloboda, Zainsk, and Tetyushi. Among the top sponsors are Nefis Cosmetics and Agrosila Group.

Cabbage, oil, ketchup, mayonnaise, and household chemicals are to be distributed starting tomorrow, Wednesday.

Furthermore, KFU plans to provide employment opportunities. All the departments can create up 60 temporary jobs. They are currently under discussion.
