The signed document is a continuation of cooperation among Yevgeny Magid (Head of the Intelligent Robotics Lab, Kazan Federal University), Fumitoshi Matsuno (Kyoto University), Mikhail Svinin (Ritsumeikan University), and J. Sutakorn (Mahidol University).

Starting in 2019, the four research teams have been working together on an information system of disaster relief in flooding and landslide zones with the help of a distributed heterogeneous robot group. This work is supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Japan Science and Technology Agency, and the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand. The agreement comprises joint research, conferences, workshops, and student exchange.
