On December 6^th, 2019 an employee of the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information technologies and intelligent systems (ITIS) (KFU) and a postgraduate student of the Higher Institute of ITIS Aufar Zakiev was awarded a letter of appreciation on behalf of the Director of “IT-park” Anton Grachev for his contribution to the training and success in research activities in the field of intelligent robotics.

Aufar teaches "Introduction to C++ programming" to the second-year undergraduate students at the Higher Institute of ITIS; also he conducts research very actively. For now, he has published 8 articles indexed in the Scopus abstract and citation database (including Q2, Q3, and Q4 issues), 4 articles indexed in the Web of Science scientific citation database and 4 articles in the RSCI – bibliographic database of scientific publications in Russia. According to the Scopus, Aufar’s h-index is 2. Aufar is a key actor in two RFBR grants. He competed as a finalist in the “Student of the year 2019” competition.
