The delegation from the Samara University visited the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems

On November 14th, the representatives of the Samara University, Director of the center of robotics, an associate professor of the Automatic Systems of Power Plants Department (Samara University), a candidate of Sciences Vladimir Ilyukhin and junior research associate of the Samara University Pavel Greshnyakov, visited the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information technologies and intelligent systems (ITIS).

During the visit, LIRS employees told the guests about the projects implemented at the Laboratory and showed them the equipment. A Head of the Laboratory, professor Evgeni Magid, told the guests about studying at the Higher Institute of ITIS and the “Intelligent robotics” master's program. The guests presented in turn their research related to the development of mechatronic motion control system for a robot driving simulator based on the Stewart platform.

Representatives of the Samara University highly appreciated the scientific potential of the laboratory and discussed opportunities for further collaboration with the LIRS in the areas of hardware and software development for industrial and mobile robotics.
