Rectors of Iraqi universities visited LIRS

On 7th October rector of the University of Anbar Khaled Nadzhim and the rector of Al Karkh University Of Science Amir Abdulamir Hassan visited the Laboratory of Iintelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS)  in the dimensions of the 12th international conference on Developments in e-Systems engineering.

Anbar University was founded as a College of Education for Girls in 1987. In 2011 received full university status. The total number of students is more than 20,000 people. The main campus has departments of engineering, economics, information technology, art, physical education, Islamic science and education in the field of natural sciences. University employees received 42 patents for various inventions In between 2011 and 2017. One of the university's specialties is desert research. In 2005 a special center was established to study the deserts of Iraq.

Scientific University Al-Qarha, founded in 2014, is a noncommercial public higher education institution located in the metropolis of Baghdad. University was accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq.  

The head of the laboratory, Professor Evgeni Magid, told the guests about the projects carried out in the laboratory, about the master's degree in "Intelligent robotics", and also showed the equipment used by the employees and students of the LIRS. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere. The guests highly appreciated the laboratory's equipment, as well as the ongoing projects? The also highly appreciated the scientific potential of the laboratory and expressed hope for cooperation.
