Students from China finished their internship at the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems

From 4th November 2019 to 21st January 2020, 10 students from the Institute of robotics of the Peking University of Beijing, China, had an internship at the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information technologies and intelligent systems (ITIS) (KFU) under the guidance of professor Evgeni Magid.

During the semester students were engaged in developing individual robotic projects in the ROS/Gazebo environment and improving their social competencies within the framework of the “Social Robotics” course taught by professor Magid in English.

One of the students, Hao Zhou, shared his impressions of the internship:

"Studying here is a great experience. I'm grateful to professor Evgeni Magid for mentoring and assistance. We will work with the ROS more diligently now. It is a great honor to meet a responsible teacher. Thank you».

Let us remind that the Peking University of Beijing was founded in 1985 under the guidance of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China. Today the University is one of the most dynamically developing universities of China, striving to constantly improve the level of teaching and learning conditions.
