The expo opened in Moscow on 11th December.

Vuzpromexpo is one of the largest higher education and industry expos in Russia, having first been conducted in 2013.

Yesterday, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Mikhail Kotyukov welcomed the exhibitors and the visitors. He said, “It's very important that the ideas of our researchers turn into Russian technology at science and education centers. We create a comfortable environment for researchers, shape an advanced scientific infrastructure, support research teams, all to turn our young people's ideas into modern Russian technologies.”

The event is being attended by federal officials, academics and university managers, and industrial enterprises. This year's Vuzpromexpo is divided into three large thematic parts, which are Personal Efficiency, Quality of Life, and Management of Resources and Space. Exhibitors showcase their technological advancements and prospective products.

This time, 109 universities and research centers, 26 engineering centers, and over 50 industrial participants have joined.
