A large trip spanned from 29th November to 8th December.

The Kazanian delegation comprised Chair of the Department of Oriental Studies, African Studies and Islamic Studies Nailya Mingazova, Director of Al Khadara Center of Arabic Culture Mohammed Al Ammary, and Vice-Rector for Research of Russian Islamic Institute Rafis Zakirov. Several meetings were held at various campuses of Abdelmalek Essaadi University in the cities of Tetouan, Tangier, Rabat, and Fez. Among the department with which the KFU employees met were the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Literature and Humanities, and the Higher School of Translation Studies.

Meetings were held with Vice-President for Research and International Cooperation Bouchta El Moumni and Director of the Center for International Certification in Arabic Language Mohammed El Hannach.

The sides discussed joint publication in a KFU’s periodical Arab Studies in Eurasia, academic exchange, book translations, textbooks of Arabic language for Kazan University students, digital resources for Arabic language studies, and next iterations of the Russian Student Olympiad in Arabic Language.
