A visit on 26th November – 1st December was helmed by Head of International Admission Unit Rauf Sabirov.
He was accompanied by a number of academics from various institutes.
During the visit, our delegation toured 12 secondary schools of the country’s capital, Tashkent. Overviews of educational programs were given, and individual questions were answered. Of course, the schoolchildren were very interested in extracurricular activities.
Educators from KFU held master classes in social studies, Russian history, and informatics for the students of pre-university courses. Needless to say, those were very welcome, as the first two disciplines are not parts of the Uzbekistani curriculum. After the lectures, trivia quizzes were organized. The winners received memorabilia from the Kazanian delegation.
