An agreement was signed on 27th November.
The agreement mentions joint programs for Uzbekistani students in two programs – Cartography and Geo-Informatics and Geodesy and Geo-Informatics. As Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Avazzhon Marakhimov noted, this new step will give additional advantages to graduates and boost experience exchange.
Russian and Uzbekistani universities have been rapidly progressing in their cooperation in the last year. Rector Ilshat Gafurov reminded the audience that the Representative Office of Kazan Federal University works at the National University of Uzbekistan, and this is only one of the markers of effective interaction.
