The event was held at Quantorium, a kids’ educational center, on 1st November.
The visitors were greeted by Vice-Rector for Innovation Dmitry Pashin and Deputy Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies Andrey Teryokhin.
As usual, several popular science lectures were offered. Associate Professor Vladimir Selantyev spoke about geochronology, Professor Ilgizar Rakhimov shared the latest the latest news on the biology of sexual dimorphism and how it may or may not reflect on the human society and the differences between men and women, and Associate Professor Ildar Abitov elucidated the difference between various of psychology with a special focus on memory studies.
A trivia quiz show was dedicated the future of science.
The Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies offered an interactive quest on geological surveys. Finally, the Institute of Philology conducted a lesson in Chinese calligraphy and grammar.
