Kazan Federal University is a traditional participant of this industry event.
The expo takes places at Expo Kazan (not to be confused with the newer Kazan Expo) from 17th to 19th October.
This year, KFU’s Department of Nature Management and Water Use chose to present students’ works. Department Chair Nafisa Mingazova spoke about some of the projects.
With regards to water rehabilitation, projects for lakes Pigoli, Borisoglebskoye, and Lebyazhye are at the expo. In water use safety, young experts provided their thoughts on flood management and restoration after sand extraction. As for international cooperation, two papers on lake and river exploration in Abkhazia are exhibited.
Today, three employees of the Department are reporting at a roundtable on water use and preservation.
