Turkmenistani academics visited Kazan University

A large delegation arrived on 1st October.

The University was represented by Vice-Rector for Education Dmitry Tayursky and some other executives. He showed a presentation of KFU and elaborated on the University 4.0 concept comprising education, research, innovation and digitization. He emphasized that there are 1,565 Turkmenistani students at our University – a very impressive number.

Dr. Tayursky mentioned that Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Law is one of KFU’s partners. According to the recent changes in Turkmenistan’s legislation, Kazan University’s diplomas are now recognized in that country.

“The main matter of our interest is introducing hi-tech into everyday life and the industry. Tatarstan has a huge experience in digital technology,” shared Director of the Institute of Chemistry (Turkmenistan Academy of Sciences) Durdymarat Gadamov.

The guests then toured a number of labs engaged in natural sciences and IT.
