9th International Forum 'Islam in a Multicultural World'

The forum is organized by Kazan Federal University on 26th – 27th September.

This year’s conference covers such topics as the Islamic factor in Russia’s foreign policy, terrorism and radicalism in Central Asia, rehabilitation and adaptation of persons who have been released from penitentiary institutions after serving time for terrorism and extremism, conflicts in the Middle East, youth radicalism, Islamic psychology, intercultural processes in Russia, etc.

The key speakers are Rector of Moscow Islamic Institute Damir Mukhetdinov, Chairperson of the Association of Psychological Help to Muslims Aliya-Olga Pavlova, Deputy Director of the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture Ali Polosin, Head the Center for the Arabic and Islamic Studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies (Russian Academy of Sciences) Vasily Kuznetsov, and Director of the Center for Strategic Research of Tajikistan Dilovar Kodirzoda.

The forum has been organized by Kazan University since 2011.
