The delegation, headed by Vice-President Chen Ciwei, arrived on 11th September.

He was joined by Asset Director Dai Li and media personalities from Shanghai.

The guests toured the History Museum, the Lenin Memorial Classroom, the Higher School of Journalism and Univer TV studios. They were accompanied by Director of the Higher School of Journalism Leonid Tolchinsky and Director of Univer TV Ildar Karimov.

During the tour, some student works in Russian and Chinese languages were shown to the visitors.

“Before arriving to Kazan, we didn’t know much about Kazan Federal University. This visit helps us understand the greatness of this university with rich history where Vladimir Lenin and Leo Tolstoy studied. We opened for ourselves the Higher School of Journalism, a place where education is harmoniously combined with practice,” said Chen Ciwei.

The sides discussed cooperation opportunities, including possible internships for KFU students in Shanghai.
