March 27 - Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations at Kazan Federal University welcomed a delegation from the Korea Foundation branch, Moscow, headed by the Mr. Kim Hwee Guil.
KFU and the Korean Foundation have a long experience of cooperation. In September 2007, with the assistance of Kazan University, the Center of Korean Studies was open. During these 2 days it is visited by Kim Hwee Guil accompanied by Vice Rector for External Relations Linar Latypov. There was an open lesson of the Korean language conducted by the Korea Foundation Visiting Professor, Ms. Lee Hyun Suk.
"We wanted to understand better how the work of the visiting professor is organized at KFU", - explained the purpose of his visit to reporters Mr. Kim Hwee Guil. He also noted that there is now a further discussion of fostering promotion of Korean studies at Kazan Federal University.
The delegation will stay in Kazan for two days.
