On August 27, 2019 a professor Kuo-Hsien Hsia from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) paid a working visit to the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) (KFU).

Staf of LIRS and the Head of the laboratory professor Evgeni Magid gave a tour around our laboratory, told the guest about laboratory's working process, projects, equipment and bachelor's and master's programs called “Intelligent Robotics”. During the meeting workers of LIRS and professor Hsia discussed joint projects and publications; details of International conference DeSE 2019 organization, where both professors will assist the “Service Robotics” track together. Moreover, they discussed an academic exchange with students and a short-term professors exchange for scientific and research activity.

Professor Hsia assessed scientific capability of LIRS and was very interested in cutting-edge research on robotics that are held by LIRS team. 

It is worth noting that together with professor Hsia and LIRS workers there were prepared 5 joint publications in issues indexed by databases Web of Science and Scopus; also two grant applications were given.
