A meeting was held on 27th August.
Vice-Rector Linar Latypov welcomed the Mayor and accompanied his team to the History Museum. Dr. Latypov then gave a brief presentation of the University.
“There are 400 students of Chinese language here now,” he said. “Overall, there 1,100 students from the People’s Republic of China. In the past five years, KFU and Chinese colleagues have co-authored 204 joint publications.”
Much attention was paid to the Lenin Memorial Classroom and the exhibits elucidating Lenin’s student time at the University in 1887.
