On 22 August 2019 the Rector from the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan state technical university (EKSTU) Zhassulan K. Shaimardanov and the Head of staff visited the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic System (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) (KFU). 
Aufar Zakiev, a Research assistant of LIRS, gave a tour around our laboratory, showed the equipment and told them about our current projects. Guests paid special attention to the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) DJI Phantom 4 Pro, which is a drone. Also guests told about their equipment and their curious pilot project on delivering pizza. The delegation noted a similarity of using industrial robots in education process and admitted a high development of mobile robotics in our laboratory.
