On April 23, the first children's festival "Robosabantui" was held in IT-park. It is aimed at popularization of scientific and technical creativity among preschool and primary school children. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Higher Institute of  ITIS took part as a strategic partner of the festival.

Students and employees of Intelligent Robotics Department have taken an active part in the festival performance activities. Professor Evgeni Magid conducted a workshop on robotics for young teachers of robotics, children and their parents. Research associate Roman Lavrenov demonstrated the capabilities of mobile robot crawler “Servosila” "Engineer", which sparked great interest among pupils. The 3rd-year undergraduate students of the Higher Institute of ITIS Damir Malikov, Vladislav Matyunin and Arthur Yenikeyev demonstrated the work of the LEGO manipulators designed and programmed by them, which they performed within the homework of the bachelor program class "Basics of Robotics".
