Professor Evgeni Magid made a presentation at the 12th All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference 'Perspective Systems and Control Problems'


On April 3-7 the XIIth All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Perspective Systems and Control Problems" was held in Dombai. Representatives of leading Russian universities, the country military sector and industrial companies took part in the conference.


Research topics on various fields were discussed at the conference, e.g., development of fundamental and applied research and innovative developments in the field of robotics, multi-agent systems, high-precision control systems, navigation and information processing systems and devices for virtual simulation and testing of robotic systems.


A Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems Professor Evgeni Magid made presentation in the "Technological Provision of Control Systems" section, where he presented the paper on "The experience of developing a simulator for the mobile robot "Servosila "Engineer". Within the framework of the conference a youth school-seminar was also held. Research and applied projects of young scientists were evaluated by an expert committee consisting of a crew member of Soviet lunar series ,who remotely-controlled Lunokhod spacecraft, retired Russian Aerospace Force (RAF) colonel, Candidate of Military Sciences, Professor Vyacheslav Dovgan; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of "Robotic Systems" Department of Bauman Moscow State Technical University Arkady Yuschenko; corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russia Federation Rafael Yusupov and Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department of the Higher Institute of ITIS Professor Evgeni Magid.
