A screening of the documentary film directed by Roy Cohen "Dream Machine" was organized within the framework of the scientific cinema festival FANK held at Innopolis University. Before watching the film, representatives of industrial and academic community in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) had a discussion on robotics and modern implementation of AI technologies. The founder of the Robotics Institute and the founder of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems at the Innopolis University Evgeni Magid, who now heads the Intelligent Robotics Department at the Higher Institute of ITIS of Kazan Federal University was invited as an expert and talked about the various stages in the development of AI, the application of robots in everyday life and existing in this area problems.
