26th Russian Conference on Propagation of Radio Waves

The conference was held by Kazan University for a third time on 1st – 6th July.

Over 262 contributions were presented by scientists from Japan, Vietnam, Italy, Israel, United Kingdom, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Sweden, Tajikistan, Moldova, and Russia.

Plenary sessions included reports on wind studies, ionosondes, meteor patterns, solitons, and other issues.

Head of astronomy and astrophysics research at KFU Oleg Sherstyukov held negotiations with the Institute of Solar and Earth Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. A cooperation agreement is slated to be signed soon.
