He was greeted by Director of International Office Olga Vershinina and representatives of KFU institutes.
Ms. Vershinina presented the university and its current priorities. She noted that KFU has 9 partners in Italy and has co-authored 240 papers with Italian colleagues since 2015.
Mr. Spallone told that he had already sought information about Kazan University, especially with regards to his field of expertise; he has a degree in neurosurgery.
During the meeting, he spoke about the grant opportunities provided by the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics. Afterwards, the parties proceeded to tour the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology.
