Vice-Rector for Research Danis Nurgaliev visited a meeting of the Russian-Colombian Group for Cooperation in Science and Education in Moscow.
Among the discussed topics was the expansion of various programs offered by Kazan University to Colombian citizens. The sides also spoke about research exchange.
Kazan University delegation visited Industrial University of Santander in April 2017 to sign a cooperation agreement.
“Next year, the University of Santander will welcome the 4th Thermal Oil Recovery Conference, the international gathering that was conceived at KFU in 2016,” comments Danis Nurgaliev. “Colombia will be the third country to host this big event.”
ThEOR-2018 was held at Southwest Petroleum University in Chengdu, China. Over 500 experts from the United States, Canada, Denmark, Russia, China, Mexico and Turkey attended the conference.
