Double diploma programs and other matters were discussed on 16th May.
Yesterday, Rector Ilshat Gafurov met with his colleague from NIEC Shukurzhon Kenzhaboyev. The latter visited Kazan after stopping at the KFU Naberezhnye Chelny Institute.
Educational cooperation with Uzbekistan has significantly geared up recently. Namely, Naberezhnye Chelny Institute already has three joint programs with NIEC: automotive engineering, automotive service, and management.
During the meeting, Rector Gafurov reiterated his interest in further expanding cooperation, and Rector Kenzhaboyev said that he wishes to see IT and electrical engineering among joint programs.
Dr. Gafurov also emphasized the importance of opening a KFU branch institution in Uzbekistan. Plans have been set in motion.
