Third Age Courses wrapped up another academic year

A closing ceremony was held on 14th May.

The Third Age project was held in 2007 and is currently managed by the Educational Center for Community Outreach Programs of Kazan University. Senior citizens can enroll in the curriculum for free to acquire new skills and knowledge.

KFU offers 17 courses from 52 educators within the program.

This year’s alumni were congratulated by Vice-Rector for General Affairs Rishat Guzeyrov, Chairwoman of the Union of Pensioners of Russia in Tatarstan Lyubov Mishina, and Human Rights Representative in Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya.

Attendants were treated to several performances by local opera singers.
