Several events were held on 15th May.
Yesterday, over 400 winners of various family-oriented contests and festivals were congratulated in UNICS, Kazan University’s sports and concert facility. They were greeted by Rector Ilshat Gafurov.
KFU employees brought their kids to the event. Competitions of drawings, handicraft and photos were organized. 13 teams joined a multi-generational sports relay, and 14 other squads partook in a trivia quiz.
A separate nomination was introduced for student families. Naturally, a concert program with young actors and singers was also in the schedule.
In the hallway, attendants could join master classes in origami, twisting, makeup, and hairdressing – all aimed at younger guests.
Among other things, Rector Gafurov proposed to open a new nomination for grandchildren of university employees in 2020; many of our colleagues have already dedicated their lives to the alma mater for three or more generations.
