KFU Yelabuga Institute joined the festival on 4th – 7th May in the city of Bolgar.

150 individuals from 15 countries visited the celebrations, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Georgia, Cote-d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Kyrgyzstan, and Germany. Yelabuga Institute dispatched 7 students from 4 countries.

This year, the festival offered prizes in three nominations – singing, dance, and literary performance. Mariya Kolesova, a Uzbekistani national from Yelabuga Institute, placed third in the choreography category.

Cultural Mosaic Festival is always held in non-metropolitan districts of Tatarstan. This aims to attract local youth and familiarize people in more remote areas with various national cultures.
