October 29 professor of Liverpool John Moores University Dhiya Al-Jumeily and  professor of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute (NCHI) Jamila Mustafina visited Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of ITIS  (ITIS), KFU. Professor Dhiya Al-Jumeyli  visited LIRS not for the first time. He is the founder of the IEEE Developments in eSystems Engineering (DESE) series of conferences and the head of the eSystems Engineering Society - a community of a wide range of scientists, researchers, software developers and students. For NCHI and ITIS participation in the DESE conference has become a tradition. This year, at the DESE 2018 conference, Professor Jamila Mustafina and Professor Evgeni Magid jointly presented KFU as the next organizer of DeSE 2019, and also Evgeni Magid was honored by the academic community with an IEEE Honorary Certificate for outstanding contribution to the development of the research community. This time, Professor Al-Jumeil came to handover to professor Evgeni Magid the flag of the DESE conference series and the flag of the eSystems Engineering Society community to appoint him as the head of the Russian branch of the eSystems Engineering Society and the general chairman of the DESE 2019 conferences at the Higher Institute ITIS KFU.
