Alexander Bugayev held talks with KFU representatives on 30th January.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Affairs of KFU Arif Mezhvedilov and Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan Damir Fattakhov.
The tagline was “Youth policy as a tool of human capital enhancement.” Mr. Bugayev preferred to stress the importance of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digitization in social development. He noted that the current generation of young people assigns much importance to self-realization, and emphasized that the state aims to create various opportunities for the youth through grants, projects, forums, and other platforms.
In particular, Bugayev mentioned the nonprofit “Russia – Country of Opportunities” which serves as a ground for experience exchange among entrepreneurs, managers, young professionals, and volunteers.
Among other topics, the guest spoke about conditions for international students (he praised Tatarstan for making huge steps in making them comfortable) and youth subcultures. He concluded, “You are the best generation in our country's history. You are not afraid, you are free in your thoughts and actions – you will bring our country forward. I am convinced in that.”
Earlier in the day, Alexander Bugayev visited the annual review meeting of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan. Rector Ilshat Gafurov was among the participants.
