Vice-Rector Linar Latypov and Shinhan University President Seo Gab-won put pens to paper today.
Dr. Latypov gave a presentation of Kazan University to the guests. He invited the Korean delegation to promote faculty cooperation.
The visitors are most interested in engineering, so Vice-Rector for Engineering Nayil Kashapov proposed joint research projects in digital technology.
President Seo noted that Kazan University is indeed a distinguished institution and expressed hope for further collaboration. The first step is the upcoming Korean language center opening, and the second is bilateral work in machine building and IT.
Yesterday, the delegation visited Naberezhnye Chelny Institute, another center of engineering education within KFU, and met with Director Makhmut Ganiev. They toured the facilities, including KUKA and Ford Sollers labs, the Department of Chemistry and Ecology, the Department of Mechanics and Construction Technology, the Department of Automobile Engines and Design, and sports infrastructure.
