19 ноября 2018 года состоялось расширенное заседание Евроклуба с участием профессора Университета Восточной Финляндии, директора магистерской программы "Border Crossings" Пола Фрайера. 

Пол Фрайер рассказал о том, как Финляндия отреагировала на кризис беженцев и как это сказалось на политическом ландшафте страны, какие были ожидания и опасения в связи с этими событиями, а также о том, каким образом осуществляется внутригосударственная работа по размещению беженцев в рамках исполнения директив Евросоюза.

Также Профессор Фрайер рассказал об исторических традициях эмиграции из Финляндии, которые сказались на демографической ситуации. Отдельно остановились и на теме трудовой миграции, являющейся общей как для стран Евросоюза, так и для России. В ходе обсуждения были затронуты  вопросы трудовой миграции из Кыргызстана в рамках интеграции в ЕАЭС, что является темой научных иследований профессора Пола Фрайера.

On November 19, 2018, an extended meeting of the Euroclub was held with the participation of Paul fryer, Professor of the University of Eastern Finland, Director of the master's program "Border Crossings". 

Paul fryer spoke about how Finland responded to the refugee crisis and how it affected the political landscape of the country, what were the expectations and fears in connection with these events, as well as how the internal work on the placement of refugees in the framework of the implementation of EU directives.

Professor fryer also spoke about the historical traditions of emigration from Finland, which affected the demographic situation. Separately focused on the topic of labor migration, which is common to the countries of the European Union and Russia. During the discussion, the issues of labor migration from Kyrgyzstan within the framework of integration into the EAEU were discussed, which is the topic of scientific research of Professor Paul fryer.
