The first weeks of a new academy year began happily for our school. A set of text-books on Russian as a Foreign language has been awarded a Diploma from the nationwide contest called “A University book”. The Contest has been held at Tomsk University this year. The teaching complex consisting of three books was compiled by the group of authors encouraged and emotionally fed by Assiciate Professor Larisa Vladimirova. Due to their efforts the teaching process in the Russian language has been provided with the worthy teaching materials. We are proud that our students are taught through the textbooks authored by our own faculty members, in all areas of the pre-university curriculum - humanitarian, natural science, physical and mathematical, medical and biological, economic.
The All-Russian Competition of Publications for Higher Educational Institutions “University Book – 2018”, established by the University Book magazine in 2000, is held to identify and support the best authors of national higher education institutions, to improve the culture of publishing considering editors' work and printing skills of educational and research publications, as well as with the aim of encouraging publishing projects of universities and commercial publishing houses aimed at ensuring of National Educational Standards, and promoting them into the national and world level databases.
