Six employees of KFU’s longtime partner university are visiting on 29^th October – 1^st November.

It so happened that Hunan Normal University and Kazan University have not yet established strong links in natural sciences during the quarter of a century of fruitful cooperation. This week’s delegation seeks changes in that regard. The team comprises Deputy Director of the HNU Department of Science and Technology Yu Zi’e and researchers Wang Zhiren, Guo Bin, Tang Cheng, Tan Rong, and Xiao Jun.

On 30^th October, Vice-Rector Linar Latypov met with the visitors and presented Kazan University. He emphasized that KFU is ready to provide infrastructure and increase joint publications for areas that correspond with its strategic priorities.

Later that day, the guests proceeded to visit the Institute of Chemistry and the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology. They were keen to know more about ongoing research and equipment, including that for biofunctional chemistry, petrochemistry and oil extraction, calalysts, genomics, proteomics, and biotechnology.

On 31^st October, a special roundtable is organized to facilitate exchange between HNU and KFU employees. Reports will be dedicated to chemistry and biology.
