IoT Academy Samsung opened at Kazan University

On 19th October, KFU became the third university in Russia to welcome the program.

The ceremony was attended by Vice-Rector Marat Safiullin, Director of the Higher School of IT and Intelligent Systems Ayrat Khasyanov, Director of GR and Corporate Projects of Russia Sergey Pevnyov, Samsung Research Center Team Leader Svetlana Yoon, and Deputy Minister of Informatization and Communications of Tatarstan Bulat Ismagilov.

IoT Academy Samsung provides students with opportunities to hone their IoT skills and create unique prototypes of devices. A full range of appropriate software and hardware is provided.

Higher School of  ITIS started its industrial IoT program in mid-October. The first semester is dedicated to studying five real-life industrial cases, and the second – to students' own projects.

Starting this October, Samsung's IoT Academy extends to 10 Russian universities.
