Students from Japan are doing internship at the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems

Master's students from Kanazawa University (Japan) came for an internship at the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of Higher Institute of Information Technology and Information Systems (ITIS) KFU. During the first days of the internship students Shohei Muto and Tetsuto Takano got acquainted with LIRS activities and student projects in which students work with different types of robots: unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned ground robots, industrial robots, etc. Within a month, students from Japan will perform tasks connected with the use of the robotic operating system ROS. Before leaving students will give a presentation to the staff of LIRS where they will talk about the scientific work which they will do during the internship.

Shohei Muto, a student of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology of Kanazawa University:

"Kazan is a very beautiful city. There are many beautiful buildings here. A huge area occupied by the Kazan Federal University impressed me. Here, in the laboratory of robotics, the staff is very friendly and kind. From the very first day we got tasks that we will perform within a month. The tasks are rather complicated and new for us but we will try very hard! ".
