The event takes place from 10th to 12th October.
Experts from Russia, Germany, China, Hungary, and Switzerland have arrived to partake in the seminar organized by the Department of Physical Chemistry and the Fast Scanning Calorimetry Lab.
Professor Boris Solomonov noted that KFU hopes to establish new links with the guests, for instance, with Dénes Lőrinczy, whose report is dedicated to calorimetry application in medicine.
This year’s seminar is dedicated to new aspects of calorimetry applications, including those for organic and inorganic materials and catalysts. Several KFU employees are contributing in such topics as crystallization kinetics, lysozyme, and melting enthalpy.
