An open-air meeting, part of a 14.30 Project, was held near KFU's Main Building on 3rd September.

The Minister was joined by his two deputies, Anna Zakhmatova and Timur Suleymanov, and 14.30 Project Lead Valentin Shikhobalov.

Mr. Fattlakhov noted that the ministry is keen on finding new opportunities for part-time and full-time employment for students, including summer vacation jobs. “We want to marry supply and demand if the market hasn't so far for some reason,” he noted. “In this 14.30 Project, we are interested in knowing about youth's initiatives. I would like for them to precisely formulate their ideas and requests to our young ministry.”

In particular, this year's alumnus Rufat Kiyamov proposed to create a new platform for graduate-employer meetings, including interviews and internships. Sergey Khurtin spoke about his idea of a mobile app, tentatively called Freelance, specifically targeted at the Kazan market. The app would follow existing gig economy software standards to help students find one-time jobs in the city. Some other proposals covered special career planning centers, paid internships, and industrial tourism for young people.

The minister thanked everyone for their contributions and promised that they will be reflected in the ministry's new strategy.

Afterwards, he proceeded to visit the Higher School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
