A delegation arrived on 24th July.
The guests are Rector Avazzhon Marakhimov, Dean of the Faculty of Geology Khadzhiakbar Tuychiev, Professor Nadim Kasymov, and Head of Curriculum and Teaching Methodology Ilkhom Khaydarov.
First Vice-Rector Riyaz Minzaripov presented KFU to the visitors. He specifically mentioned that Uzbekistanis are the largest group of international students at our University, currently standing at 1,211 individuals.
Rector Marakhimov noted that the two universities are poised to cooperate successfully thanks to the proximity of cultures, languages, and history.
The sides then exchanged opinions on various issues. They plan to open a preparatory school for prospective KFU enrollees on the NUU premises. Other than that, double diplomas and academic exchange were discussed.
In the next two days, the Uzbekistani delegation will visit museums and institutes.
