Tashkent Medical Academy delegation impressed by KFU Medical Simulation Center and plans to open one

A cooperation agreement between the two institutions was signed today in Kazan.

At the meeting, KFU's side was represented by Vice-Rector Linar Latypov, Director of the International Office Andrey Krylov, and Deputy Director of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology Rashat Fayzullin. Tashkent Medical Academy dispatched Head of the International Department Jakhongir Israilov, Dean of the Medical Prophylactic Faculty Feruza Salomova, and Director of the Inter-University Lab Bakhtiyar Ireskulov.

Before the talks, the guests made a stop at the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology. Mr. Israilov said that KFU’s exemplary implementation of the medical simulation project will serve as guidance when TMA starts its own works on such a center.

The sides noted that Kazan University is very popular among Uzbekistani students, of which there are currently 1,163 here – that’s the largest community of all. Kazan is placed third in the list of popular cities for Uzbekistani students, after Moscow, Russia, and Riga, Latvia.

The signed agreement posits that KFU and TMA aim to establish joint programs and research projects, promote academic and student exchange, and co-organize events.
