Knowledge Center teaches skills and offers career advice

The newly opened unit has started its activities.

Center Manager, Director of the Department of Marketing and PR of KFU Leyla Mukhtarova commented, “The main problem facing young people is finding a calling in life. Many of them are unsure of what to engage in and what their true desire is. The second obstacle in finding a job is a lack of skills and acquaintances. The Center aims to help them find solutions and serve as an experience exchange platform.”

The Center's activities are concentrated on professional advice, skill teaching, and liaising with employers. Thus, a student can try himself/herself in a profession and evaluate its advantages and disadvantages. There are many formats, including master classes, training sessions, and individual consultations.

First events have been already held, such as a lecture on job interviews by Alsu Glinskaya, HR strategist and corporate culture expert. Several days ago, Aleksandra Yefremova, Head of Planning and Development Section of the Center of IT of Tatarstan, gave a lecture titled ‘Digital Economy: New Realities’. She commented on some buzzwords like Big Data, neuronal networks, smart cities, blockchain, and the Internet of Things.
