Cooperation Agreement Signed with Saint-Petersburg Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology

Rector Ilshat Gafurov and Director Pyotr Yablonsky sealed the deal in Saint-Petersburg.

On March 20th, Rector Gafurov and his colleagues visited the Institute of Phthisiopulmonology to join a special meeting of its Academic Council.

The Rector greeted the participants, “Your Institute is one of the oldest medical research institutions in Russia, with a glorious history, significant achievements, and renowned scientists and physicians. We are glad to join efforts with you to fight serious diseases. Today’s agreement is not just a formal document. It includes specific proposals in areas of anti-tumor and anti-tuberculosis pharmaceutics.”

SPbRIPP will be in charge of in silico medication tests, and Kazan University will handle in vitro and in vivo stages. Naturally, joint publications will emerge as results of such cooperation.

During the meeting, Head of KFU Pharmaceutics Center Yury Shtyrlin talked about the latest achievements. He gave a brief presentation of current biopharmaceutical technologies.

Rector Gafurov invited SPbRIPP employees to arrive to KFU in the nearest future.
