Kazan University Visited by Ambassador of Bangladesh Saiful Hoque

Mr. Hoque and his aide Mia Sattar met with Vice-Rector Linar Latypov on 27th February.

After a traditional tour of the KFU History Museum, the guests proceeded to the meeting room. Dr. Latypov gave a presentation of the University with a special focus on research facilities and international cooperation. The Vice-Rector emphasized the comfortable accommodation provided by KFU for its international students and faculty. He extended an invitation to the academics of the People’s Republic to visit Kazan and witness the developments here. So far, there have been no established research contacts between the two sides. As for the students, there are two Bangladeshi nationals at KFU today.

H. E. Ambassador Hoque expressed his gratitude for the hospitality, “It's a big pride for me to be in Kazan and in your university. For us, student mobility is important, as well as support from KFU’s young scientists. It’s important for our meeting to end not just with words but with deeds.”

He assured that top executives of Bangladeshi universities will arrange contacts with Kazan University and discuss cooperation.
