A new revision of the federal law took force on 31st December 2017.

Those foreign citizens who have successfully completed preparatory courses (pre-university training) and received invitation to enroll in higher education programs now don’t have to exit Russia for a new visa.

Here are the prerequisites to prolong one's stay in Russia:

• Successful completion of entrance exams and tests (recommendation for admission)
• Signing of an educational services contract
• Submission of a full set of documents in accordance with the enrolment requirements
• Payment in full of all educational services.
