350 students from Elabuga branch of KFU were interviewed to be selected as volunteers for 'Universiade 2013'

On February, 19 members of the Department on youth policy, social affairs and physical education system development  interviewed prospective volunteers for “Universiade 2013” in Elabuga branch at KFU.

Volunteers are specially selected and trained people who want to use their experience, time, knowledge and skills in the organization of the Universiade 2013. During the Games they will be provided with outfit, food, and will have a chance to see the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of Games for free.

There are 350 candidates to receive this title in Elabuga Branch of KFU. 70 applications were received from students of the Faculty of History and the of Law.

Interview or recruitment will take place throughout the day: 30 recruiters will conduct this work. First of all, will be to assessed communication skills of candidates, then their stress resistance, organization skills, abilities to team work, and also their knowledge of foreign languages, in particular how they speak English and German.

After observing all applications, organizers will call applicants and tell whether they will participate in XXVII World Student Games Universiade 2013 from 6th to 17th of July or not. The next step is the distribution of volunteers in four subgroups: “volunteer of general specialization”, “volunteer-specialist”, “volunteer for playground” and “urban volunteer”. The process of selection of volunteers (recruitment) will end on March, 1 and at the same time will start the process of training team of volunteers “Kazan 2013”that will include 20000 people.
