The Friday afternoon was packed with international guests.

The Indonesian colleagues came to Kazan to participate in Kazan Legal 2017, therefore the agreements pertain to cooperation in law and legal education. The universities which signed them are Tarumanagara University,  University of 17 August 1945 Semarang, National University of Jakarta, Borobudur University, Pancasila University, Warmadewa University,  Indonesia Bar Association, and Association of Indonesian Universities.

The guests met with Vice-Rector Linar Latypov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education Olga Cheparina, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for International Relations Rustem Davletgildeev.

Minister Miao Wei arrived with a cultural visit. Accompanied by Vice-Rector Riyaz Minzaripov, he visited the History Museum, Lenin’s Memorial Classroom, and the Emperor’s Hall; he also left a note of gratitude for the hospitality in the University guestbook.

The Minister then proceeded to meet with Chinese students, of whom there are currently over 650 at KFU. Chairwoman of the Association of Chinese Students Mo Jiman thanked him for his support and noted that Chinese nationals should diversify their enrolment choices at KFU, with more focus on natural sciences and mathematics.

Minister Miao wished the students all the best and to contribute to the strengthening of Russia-China ties with their friendliness and earnest studies.
