Fresh graduates received their diplomas at Convocation ceremony on July 6th, 2017. The ceremony took place in the Imperial Hall of Kazan Federal University. Farewell speeches for outgoing students were given by the first deputy minister of information and communication of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Vandyukov, vice-rector of the KFU for External Relations Linar Latypov, Director of ITIS Higher Institute Airat Khasyanov and the representatives of major IT companies of Tatarstan and ITIS teachers. Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department Professor Evgeni Magid advised graduated students to be responsible in making life decisions and to plan them prudently a few steps ahead, because that determines the future and the well-being of their families. For outstanding results in research work the students of the Intelligent Robotic Systems Laboratory Ksenia Shabalina and Aufar Zakiev were awarded with memorable gifts from IT Park and GDC company.
