University of Messina is offering a number of research scholarships for international PhD candidates on Cyber Physical Systems.
If you are a strong potential PhD candidate, available to spend a training period of at least 12 months in a qualified research institution outside Italy, and are interested to work with us on a topic related to any of the following:
- Cloud computing
- Internet of Things
- Sensors
- Smart cities
- Data analytics
- Performance evaluations
- Embedded systems
- Data and systems security

Contract Details:
Each PhD scholarship has a total amount of € 49.782,00 (fortynine thousands and seven hundred eightytwo,00), comprising:
- the amount representing three-year financial coverage of the scholarship: 13.639€ per annuum pro rata;
- uplift of the above amount for periods spent abroad, with a maximum duration of 18 months (equal to Euro 6,137.31);
- budget for funding the cost of research activity carried out in Italy and abroad) amounting to at least Euro 2,727.69.
The Scholarship will start from 1st November 2017.
