2017's Most Senior Enrollee Olga Yendaltseva: 'It Won't Be Difficult for Me to Study'

KFU is open for students of all ages, and there are many people eager to continue learning even after having many years of work experience.

Executive Secretary of the Admission Commission Oleg Bodrov gave an interview to Univer TV on July 19th. Among other things, he mentioned that the most senior applicant this year was born in 1957.

Olga Yendaltseva graduated from Kazan Aviation Institute (now Kazan National Research Technical University) in 1981. As of today, she has been working in land planning and cadastral registry for over 20 years – she is a section head at her company. As she said, she decided to enroll because of the new federal legislation – starting in 2020 only experts with corresponding education certificates will be allowed to proceed working with cadastral matters. So Ms. Yendaltseva now needs to obtain a degree.

She enrolled in Lang Planning and Cadastral Registry at the Institute of Environmental Sciences. The master program duration is 2 years, and the exams will start on July 27th.

Ms. Yendaltseva commented, «It won't be very difficult for me to study – I have to solve much more demanding tasks at the company. Moreover, mind training will be useful at this age».

As for the youngest applicants, there have been none under the usual age of 17 this year so far.
